The Apprentice Challenge!

The Autumn Farmer’s Market is almost upon us and our apprentices have been busy in college coming up with their plans for the apprentice challenge!

The apprentices have split into three groups and it is their task to design and manage a stall each at this year’s Autumn Farmer’s Market. They not only come up with the concept, the name and the products, but they also source their ingredients, manage their finances and run the stall on the day.

Every Thursday afternoon, the guys are at Camborne College and for the next couple of weeks their focus will be on organising their stalls. The three teams so far are below but this is subject to change as last minute preparation happens this week!

The Italian Gob – Serving: Bacon Sandwiches and Antipasti dishes.

Fifteen Sausage Company – Serving: Hot Dogs with homemade chutneys.

Alimento Itlaliano Pella Via (Italian Street Food) – Serving: Peperonata and piadinas.

Three very different concepts and hopefully three very successful stalls! The apprentices are all working really hard out of hours to source their ingredients and finalise their plans so please come and show them your support on October 1st!
