The return of the Fifteen Farmer’s Market…
On Saturday 1st October, the Fifteen Cornwall farmer’s market will once again return to Watergate Bay and there is heaps for you to get involved with. Expect to find everything on the shopping list such as fresh veg, Cornish fish, fresh local meat and artisan cheeses as we’ve got a splendid line up of local suppliers who will be providing delicious fresh food and produce all day long.
These include:
Deli Farm - www.delifarmcharcuterie.co.uk/
Jamie at Home – www.jamieathome.com/sign-in.html
Matthew Stevens – www.mstevensandson.co.uk/companyinfo/
St Mawgan Stores – www.stmawganvillagestores.co.uk/preserves.asp
Origin Coffee – www.origincoffee.co.uk/
Seafood Restaurant, Padstow – www.rickstein.com/
Also:
Primrose Herd
De Bara Bakery
If that’s not enough, our own head chef Andy Appleton will be demonstrating his skills and knowledge from the seasonal produce available at 12 noon on the dot. Expect to be wowed by his love of all things Italian while combining it with the best Cornwall has to offer.
As well as Andy, we also have a host of amazing chefs set to show off their cooking throughout the day. Don’t miss out on demos from Ben (Da Bara Bakery), Paul Wadham (Tresanton Hotel) Gordon Lawerence aka Gordy! (Fifteen’s own Sommelier) and Paul Ainsworth – Any viewers of the BBC’s Great British Menu will have seen Paul’s dessert “Taste of the Fairground” emerge victorious.
If you’re still hungry for more, you can check out the Apprentice Challenge. Our Fifteen Cornwall apprentices have been working hard on producing some fabulous food for the Autumn Farmer’s Market and will be going head to head in the big sell-off. Which team is crowned winner is up to you!
The Fifteen Cornwall Autumn Farmers’ Market will take place in the Extreme Academy car park in front of the restaurant at Watergate Bay from 9am – 3.30pm and most importantly entry is free!
Look forward to seeing you there!
