Monte Bernardi wine showcase - 1st July 2010

Great food deserves great wine, and here at Fifteen Cornwall our sommelier Gordon Lawrence and his team have lots of fun compiling a small but diverse list of wines, that bring together many of the favourite names from around the globe.

On 1st July we are pleased to welcome winemaker Michael Schmelzer of the Monte Bernardi estate to Fifteen Cornwall who will be showcasing four of his wines on our wine package this evening.

These will be a Rosé which consists of a blend of 'traditional Chianti' grapes: Sangiovese, Canaiolo, Malvasia, Trebbiano and a Chianti Classico which is Sangiovese (95%), Canaiolo Nero (5%).

The two premium wines which we will be featuring are Sa'etta made with Sangiovese (100%) and Tzingana, a Bordeaux blend of Merlot (45%), Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc (42%), Petit Verdot (13%) Michael’s wines are fantastic and are receiving rave reviews.
