Education is integral to our work at Fifteen Cornwall whether it’s developing the skills of our apprentice chefs or passing on knowledge to our diners. It’s something we’re very passionate about and we welcome visits from local primary schools and other community groups.
We aim to inspire school children with a hands-on insight in to what we do at Fifteen Cornwall. They’ll get to test their pasta making skills, try out lots of different foods and learn about importance of local sourcing.
Whilst we don’t charge for the visits as a registered charity, The Cornwall Foundation of Promise, we always welcome donations.
Groups to a maximum of 30 pupils are welcome from the beginning of October through to Easter. We’re happy to consider visits outside these dates depending on how busy the restaurant is. Unfortunately we can’t host anything during July and August.
Each visit runs from 9.30am to 11am. We’ll split the group so that half gets to make pasta whilst the other half tucks into all sorts of produce. They then swap and all enjoy a bowl of pasta at the end.
Please let us know if any children in the group have food allergies prior to the visit.
If you a primary school and are interested in bringing a group of children to the restaurant, please contact Haley Sugden on firstname.lastname@example.org
