You’ve probably guessed that we take olives pretty seriously at Fifteen Cornwall. After all, to Italians, olives are as essential to life as air and water. Of course, there’s olives, and then there’s Bella di Cerignola olives from Apulia…These are the sweet, firm fleshed giant olives we serve at Fifteen Cornwall that now have something of a cult following. We’ve teamed up the olives with our signature extra virgin olive oil, Fontodi from Tuscany and a stunning olive wood dish for serving to create the kind of gift that will make an olive lover very, very happy.

Our olive hamper comes wrapped in a natural fluted card tray and contains:

Bella di Cerignola olives 500g from Apulia, named after the town of Cerignola in southern Italia. These are thought to be the largest olives in the world, and have an almost meaty texture and an intense, fruity flavour.

Fontodi extra virgin olive oil 500ml. This amazing oil comes from a famous estate renowned for making Chianti Classico wine in Tuscany. With refreshing grassy notes at first, the flavour of Fontodi oil deepens into a peppery flavour. Dip fresh baked bread into this oil and you’ll see why we love it so much.

Olive wood bowl (18cm approx.) with large section for olives and smaller section for stones. Each of these hand made artisan bowls is unique, with rich grain patterns and the smoothest waxed surfaces. Each one is a little work of art that will last you a lifetime. Surely it’s only right to do your olives justice by serving them in one of these beautiful bowls?
