All the spring greens

With spring getting into full swing we’re celebrating the season with an abundance of new dishes on our Fifteen Menu.

Start with little bites at the bar with a pre-lunch or dinner aperitif, enjoying the best of Italian antipasti. Dip Da Bara baked ciabatta in Capezzana Tuscan olive oil, savour giant Puglian green olives and share sliced Italian Salami.

Our small plates celebrate the fresh flavours spring brings and brighten up any grey day of April showers. Choose Prosciutto di San Daniele with broad bean salsa, pickled onion, lemon zest, mint and Cornish leaves, nettle polenta with gorgonzola, walnut and celery gremolata or first of the season asparagus with panzanella of picked baby gem, capers, mint and brown butter aioli.

Take comfort in slow-cooked rabbit ragu with pappardelle & wild garlic, indulge in risotto with globe artichokes, Taggiasca olives and almonds or choose fresh pea gnudi with pea & broadleaf spinach sauce, mint and pecorino – a lighter option to gnocchi. Enjoy all these delicious dishes as a starter or size up and enjoy for your main course.

Our large plates showcase the best of Cornish fish and meat with Philip Warren aged rib-eye, cooked to perfection on the josper for added depth of flavour, free range chicken with cannellini beans, purple sprouting broccoli and salmoriglio and fresh Cornish fish with smoked peas, Tropea onion and farro. Add our spring contorni plates to any dish or perhaps select a few for the table to share. Choose from Cornish early potatoes, roast spring leeks with almonds or spring leaves with creamy barilotto cheese made from Buffalo milk.

If you fancy something sweet or savoury to end your meal our desserts won’t disappoint. Savour award winning cheeses with homemade date & nut salami and oat biscuits. Keep it sweet with Mariana’s lemon bavarois – the star of the show from our early spring menu, so delicious and full of zesty spring flavours we kept it for you try along with other refreshing desserts.
