Apprentices put through their paces by polar adventurer!
On 26th August our apprentices will be taken out of their usual environment and put in the middle of Bodmin Moor where they’ll undergo two days of outdoor activities and team building exercises.
On the first day, our Welfare Manager Matt Thomas will be putting the guys through their paces, teaching them things like bushcraft, fire making and shelter building which had better be good as they will be sleeping in it that night!
The following day, Polar adventurer Justin Miles from Devon, who, with his friend John Wilton Davies is attempting to walk to the South Pole and back unsupported next year, will be arriving early to join the gang for breakfast, before giving them a motivational talk and taking them out for some fun including team races and command tasks! It should be a great couple of days and I’ll be putting some pics up afterwards so stay tuned!
