Fifteen Friday Faces- Tracey Page
As our apprentices prepare to head back to Cornwall College to study for their NVQ level 2 I caught up with their tutor Tracey Page…
What do you do when you are at FifteenCornwall (for Fifteen Cornwall)?
“I look after the apprentices educational needs. I try to give the apprentices an insight into the professional side of the industry at college.”
What do you do when you are not at Fifteen Cornwall?
“Well, I go caravanning and I have a holiday home in Woolacombe. I spend lots of time with the family and grandkids.”
How was your first day at Fifteen Cornwall?
“It was overruling, I was overalled by the problems and backgrounds of the apprentices, it was on my back door step and I wasn’t aware of it.”
Tell us about the best dish you have ever eaten at Fifteen Cornwall…
“I enjoy the breakfast ,without a doubt. It epitomises Fifteen’s passion for local produce. From a chefs point of view it’s one of the hardest meals to get right with all the individual parts to get perfect..”
Tell us about your favourite drink…
What would be your ‘Desert Island Disc'(album)?
“Genesis Greatest Hits.”
What would be your desert Island ingredient?
“I would take an egg- universal. You can make sweet, savoury and good for illness.”
Who would you invite to your last supper?
“Probably family and friends who have past away.”
Finally, make us all laugh…
“I’ll just be myself, it doesn’t have to be a joke. I have loads of stories and anecdotes that make people laugh.”
Lovely to see you here at the restaurant Tracey, hope the new term goes well!
