Introducing our new vegetarian tasting menu

Celeriac Steak

For the new year we have made some exciting changes to our evening menu. Our sharing options have moved onto the a la carte dinner menu and we have introduced a five course vegetarian tasting menu to run alongside our signature tasting menu to provide more choice for our vegetarian customers.

Our Head Chef Adam Banks is a big advocate of whole plant eating and believes that vegetables should have as much importance in dishes as their fish and meat counterparts. Out of respect for the passion and effort which has gone into growing the produce, Adam champions a root to tip ethos to the wonderful seasonal vegetables we have available from both our local and specialist Italian producers. Adam’s dishes are experimental and innovative and he is always looking at ways to extend the seasons buy pickling, preserving and fermenting anything that is not used on the day.

Although it is a vegetarian menu, we feel the dishes will appeal to all of our guests by creating delicious combinations where the quality of the produce shines through and the ingredients speak for themselves. You can expect to see luxurious freshly made pastas or risotto, a variety of seasonal vegetables or leaves combined with fruit, pulses, nuts and grains; and the use of cheeses from Cornwall or South West England and Italy. Whilst the menu is vegetarian as opposed to vegan, we offer flexibility with the dishes to ensure that we can meet the needs of our vegan customers, with additional options also available on our a la carte menu.

The five course vegetarian menu includes antipasto, insalata, primi and a choice of two options for both secondi and dolci with coffee and cioccolatini to finish. It is priced at £55 per person and can also be enjoyed with optional accompanying wine pairings.
