Summer Smoothie

Jamie Oliver is a big fan of smoothies at breakfast and we’re pretty partial to them as well.

Whether you’re taking your breakfast slowly with a leisurely read of your favourite paper or quickly whizzing up a smoothie to take to work, they’re the perfect excuse to enjoy plenty of fruits and vegetables in an easy way.

At breakfast our smoothie of the day is a firm favourite with our guests, ideal for balancing out the amazing Fifteen Fry Up. At this time of year we’re making the most of summer berries, but this changes depending on the season. Have a go at making it yourself from our notes below or peruse our breakfast menu and make a reservation to enjoy the Fifteen experience.

In a blender combine a handful of fresh pineapple chunks, a couple of handfuls of mixed fresh berries (we’re using blueberries, strawberries and raspberries at the moment), one whole peeled banana and a little pineapple juice to get the consistency right. Blitz, pour, enjoy!
