What a fab idea!
We have a management meeting every week where we all get together to discuss how the restaurant’s doing, future bookings, events, promotions etc. Yesterday, our Exec Chef Neil brought a fab idea to the table. He recently went to see the End of the Line – a film that documents the devastating effect of over fishing in the world. The film examines the imminent extinction of bluefin tuna and the chain reaction that its demise is bringing about in the world’s oceans. The film had a great effect on him and he wanted to bring it to everyone’s attention, so he came to the meeting and proposed that we show it in a marquee on the beach! We said, what a brilliant idea and now the wheels are in motion to organise this event.
