Fifteen Cornwall’s Seasonal Lunch Offer Extended in the Run Up to Christmas

Due to popular demand, Fifteen Cornwall has extended its seasonal £24 lunch offer into December. It will be available from Monday to Saturday until the week before Christmas.

The winter £24 lunch offer will run six days a week, from Monday 30 November to Friday 18 December inclusive. Guests can enjoy three courses of fantastic, seasonal Italian-inspired food while soaking up the winter views overlooking Watergate Bay.

At £24 per person, it provides an ideal opportunity to celebrate the festive season with friends, family and colleagues, while enjoying tasty dishes made from the very best Cornish and Italian produce available at this time of year.

The restaurant is able to accommodate tables of up to 12 people, or seat groups of up to 23 people, providing the perfect chance to have a Christmas lunch with a difference.

Fifteen Cornwall’s head chef, Andy Appleton, said: “There are some really exciting ingredients available that arrive with the colder temperatures. Quince, clementines, Jerusalem artichokes, flower sprouts, and game such as venison and pheasant are in abundance and will all be making an appearance on our menus in the coming weeks.”

Popular dishes for this time of year include: bruschetta of Clarence Court hen’s egg, fontina and wild rocket for starters; or main courses of carne misto, polenta, cavolo nero and salsa verde, or carnaroli risotto of pear, gorgonzola and walnuts. For pudding, clementine tart served with Rodda’s clotted cream.

The daily-changing menus at Fifteen Cornwall are highly dependent on what is available and in season in both Cornwall and Italy, so visitors are guaranteed to see different dishes each time they visit, safe in the knowledge they will feature the best seasonal ingredients on offer.

The 3 course Winter £24 lunch offer runs from Monday 30 November to Friday 18 December 2015. Available Monday to Saturday lunchtimes only.

Opened in May 2006, Jamie Oliver’s Fifteen Cornwall uses the magic of food to empower and inspire young people in Cornwall to become professional chefs. Owned by the Cornwall Food Foundation, Fifteen Cornwall aims to recruit 15-20 young people aged 16-24 each year to become the chefs of the future.

Cornwall Food Foundation inspires people in Cornwall through food to make meaningful change in their lives. An independent, registered charity it is best known for managing the Fifteen Cornwall Apprentice Programme and Jamie Oliver’s Fifteen Cornwall restaurant.

The Foundation also runs a successful schools programme which sees over 1,000 school children visit the restaurant and actively engages with 30 schools through the schools healthy eating programme. The Foundation is currently working on some exciting new projects that involve vocational training opportunities and engaging communities through food-related activities that focus on health, education and employment.
