Camborne Cornwall College has provided the students with all the vocational training they need to become qualified chefs while also having been instrumental in making bids for public money.
Truro Job Centre Plus was instrumental in recruiting the students, and also contributed very significant funding through both their Community Action Team budget and co-financing. They have moved heaven and earth to make sure Fifteen Cornwall was possible.
The Devon and Cornwall Learning Skills Council has given Fifteen Cornwall tremendous support and has provided invaluable funding through both their Local Initiative Fund and co-financing.
The Savoy Educational Trust have funded our 8th cohort of apprentices this year by covering costs for chef whites, knives and practical books. This equipment is vital for our apprentices in enabling them to complete their qualifications VRQ Level 1 and NVQ Level 2, both in the kitchen and at college.
St Austell Brewery has made a substantial donation, given us top of the range refrigerators for the restaurant and will be providing ongoing training for the restaurant staff.
