Jacob Tiller, 19, Newquay
Before joining the programme he used to compete in karate competitions around Cornwall and was often found skateboarding and surfing. He also used to be a KP in his local Chinese restaurant which is what inspired him to join the programme. After completing the programme, he would like to run his own bar and grill restaurant or train to be a head chef. His favourite meals to eat are lasagne and Shepard’s Pie and He’s most nervous about not keeping up with the high standard of the course.

Kyle Price, 20, Newquay
Before joining the programme, you could find Kyle gaming at home, taking photos of Newquay’s beaches or filming tricks at the skate park. After becoming a fully qualified chef through the programme, Kyle hopes to open up his own pub or restaurant. He is most nervous about making mistakes with the food he cooks in the Fifteen kitchen.

Ryan Dixon, 20, Newquay
Ryan volunteered at Newquay Orchard looking to start his career in the food industry. After completing the programme, he hopes to travel and work abroad starting in America. His favourite food is pizza and anything with sweet potato in. He’s really excited to make it on the programme and is most nervous about coping under the pressure of the Kitchen.

Mattie Johnson Mitchell, 17, Newquay
Before he joined the programme, he was in and out of trouble with the police but after he becomes a fully trained chef through Fifteen, he hopes to work in a Michelin star restaurant. His favourite food is anything with pasta which is one of the skills he’ll learn how to make from scratch in the Fifteen kitchen. He is most nervous about messing up the opportunity to make some amazing dishes here at Fifteen.
