Restaurant Supervisor – Full Time


We are looking for enthusiastic and interesting individuals who want to work within our exceptional front of house team in our exciting restaurant, overlooking the best beach on the north coast of Cornwall.

Location: Fifteen Cornwall, Watergate Bay

Salary: £7.20 per hour – front of house shifts / £8.50 per hour – supervisor shifts, plus tips and perks

This full time position will be divided between front of house shifts as well as some supervisor shifts.

Although full training of our service and style will be provided, the successful applicant will need an excellent attention to detail and the capacity to work in a busy environment, ideally they would have experience of working in a similar type of restaurant…

Our talented and passionate chefs will tell you all there is to know about the mouth watering and exciting ingredients sourced from the south west of England to Italy, and how those ingredients have gone from the source to the fabulous dishes you will be serving to all our diners.

The main purpose of this job role is to assist the Floor Managers in the smooth running of restaurant and to deputise in his/her absence. To assist with the implementation and maintenance of food and service standards in order to exceed customer expectations. Main responsibilities will also include training and development of all floor staff.

Work as part of a team.

Good communication skills with front of house & kitchen.

Working alongside the manager on duty & help with the general organising of the restaurant team, such as floor plans, menus, putting items into EVAC system and tables on EPOS.

To be as flexible as possible for a role where you be required to cover illness, lateness or management holiday.

To help co-ordinate the staff during service, and work alongside the waiting team.

To be an aid to the other members of floor staff during service.

To be observant during service & anticipate any problems that may occur.

To be a key holder.

To be answerable to the accounts department for any banking queries.

Help keep service standards high.

Help keep food knowledge high.

To help train any new members of staff, and make them feel a welcome addition to the Fifteen team.

You will also play a huge part in the journey our apprentice chefs go through on the life changing programme we run within the kitchen. You will be heart warmed in watching them become the chefs of the future.
